Just Because

I took some pictures of Evey...for no reason other than she is so stinkin' cute.

Her two favorite things at the moment are staring at her hand (I need to get a picture of this) and sticking out her tongue. Oh, and I suppose making really wet slobbery noises with her mouth. Here's my sweetie...

Man Work

Maddox got to help his daddy work on a computer. Maddox likes to call this sort of thing "man work." He will proudly tell me to check him out "workin' like a man!" So here he is workin like a man...

Welcome Jayden

I am a new aunt! Dylan's baby boy was born yesterday evening. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 inches. He felt like bag of cottonballs compared to my own 'little' 20 pound butterball! He is quite handsome...

His likes and dislikes are pretty much the same as most babies thus far. Dislikes include being undressed and especially diaper changes...

Likes include eating...

and sleeping...

He slept the entire time we were there! So peaceful...making little happy noises. Welcome tiny Jayden!

Icy Mystery

So - this morning as we let Cash out we noticed a bizarre sort of icicle sticking UP from Maddox's sand box.
?????????????
We are baffled. There are no wires or trees overhead...simply open sky. It is sticking up at an angle...approximately 5-6 inches tall. It is hollow in the center - holding water. I'd love to hear any theories on this...because I have none. :-)

20 Pounds of Sweetness

Evey and I just returned from her doctor's appointment. Maddox was a big ole' baby. Apparently Evey is even bigger! She weighed in at 20 lbs and measured 27 inches. Both her height and weight are in the 97%! I sure love that little nugget of sweetness. ;-) Evey is sleeping off the excitement of her visit to the doctor's office.

I have been and will continue to be very busy working on my new website. I finally got the template Tuesday afternoon. I've pretty much finished the wedding half and now need to focus on the portrait section. Can't wait to have it updated!

Exersaucin' Evey

We got out the old 'exersaucer' for Evey since she is so insistant on being upright as much as possible. She really seems to enjoy hanging out in there. Except for the time Maddox pinched her fingers with some of the toys. She most certainly did not like that. Her favorite seems to be the plastic 'book' pages that flip back and forth. Now that she isn't laying around so much - maybe the bald patch on the back of her head will fill in a little...looks like a little landing strip on the back of her head. Clean as a whistle...not a hair to be found there.

Rock Star

Maddox was rockin' out in his room this morning. He mainly lip syncs. :-)

Some of you have been lucky enough to witness Maddox's performances live. He really gets into it sometimes.

Though he did periodically pause to twirl his hair and inspect his fingernails. :-)

Then it was right back to jammin' along with his tunes.
