Lauren + Kyle...Wedding Photography

Yesterday, Lauren and Kyle became husband and wife. The ceremony and reception took place at Stony Point Hall - the lovely farm and beautiful weather made for a perfect wedding! We were even blessed with rainbows and butterflies. ;-)

I had a small fit when we captured this rainbow...
Plus it was fun to tease the guys about it. Men love rainbows, right? ;-)

Awwwww...

Not only were the bouquets from BitterSweet Floral Designs beautiful, they were amazing at attracting butterflies!

Evan (Kyle's brother) and Michaela were just married last month. See how good they are at having their picture taken? I said, hey, let me get a picture of the newlyweds. They said okay, and immediately snuggled and smiled... Pros! ;-)

So Lauren and Kyle immediately settled into domestic bliss...

If I had a nickel for every wedding where we shot with a lawnmower...I'd have 5 cents. This was definitely a first. haha

As for the reception, the dance floor was where it was at!

And then everyone went all Footloose. It was AWESOME!

So much fun! Thanks to everyone for a fantastic wedding celebration...and of course, CONGRATULATIONS to Lauren and Kyle! I wish you both the best. :-)

Changes

It's been a crazy week! Maddox started summer school last Monday to help prepare him for kindergarten in August. We had a bit of a roller coaster ride early in the week...things seemed great and then not so great. But it all seemed to level out and overall he is doing well with it and is having a great time. Maddox says that "school is the best thing ever!"

We also started introducing Evey to daycare this week. For the most part she is having a blast. We are going slow and easing her in, just trying to keep it happy and positive. She loves her teacher and really enjoys playing with other kids her age.

So I'm (hesitantly) optimistic that they will continue to settle into some new routines and enjoy all of this new stimulation. :-)

Happy Birthday Bryce!

This post is a tad belated. A couple of weeks ago we had a little barbeque at Jay's mom's house for cousin Bryce's birthday. Here is the (goofy) birthday boy...

It was a lovely day for a barbeque...

and we had a great time playing in the backyard. There was lots and lots of swinging...

When it was Olivia's turn to swing, Bryce decided to make a game of running back and forth in front of the swing. Very safe. ;-)

Then when it was Bryce's turn to swing, Louis decided to beam him with a giant bouncy ball. Another safe choice. Bryce seemed to think it was hilarious.
